13 Hechi products rated high-quality food brands

The launching ceremony of the 1st Guangxi High-quality Food Selection Activity was held in Nanning Exhibition Center on April 27. Thirteen brands of Hechi city were selected.

The activity was jointly organized by the provincial Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce, the provincial Office of Poverty Alleviation, the provincial Department of Ocean and Fisheries, and the News Information Center of Xinhua News Agency. It was aimed at building agricultural brands of the autonomous region and revitalizing rural economy.
More than 400 companies entered their names for the contest and the public voted on an internet platform. The awards come in six categories: top ten best rice, fruits, teas, chickens and pork products of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Products from Hechi city to make the list included Jinguiyuan camellia oil from Jinguiyuan Food Co, Jiuqianwan water from Jiuqianwan Mineral Water Co, mulberry preserves from Longteng Mulberry Cooperative in Jinchengjiang district, and "pearl plum" from Xiangyimin Fruit Cooperative in Tian'e county.

Jiuqianwan water stands out for its exceptional source and quality, and is the only drinking water brand selected.
The products chosen in the event are the best of the best in the agricultural products of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. This activity facilitated the building of trustworthy brands that demonstrate the unique features of the autonomous region, embody the culture of local communities and show the results of modern agricultural technology.
In recent years, Hechi has experienced rapid development of characteristic agricultural products including sugarcane, edible mushrooms, and high-quality fruits. In addition, Hechi has developed selenium-rich products, which has reaped considerable economic results.
