Fengshan county named one of 'the Most Beautiful Leisure Resorts in China'

The 2018 Beautiful China Experience-exchanging Meeting on the Building of Eco-friendly Cities and Beautiful Countryside was held in Beijing on April 21. Fengshan county, located in Hechi city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, received the title of "the Most Beautiful Leisure Resort in China".

Fengshan county has distinct advantages in developing the health and longevity tourism industry. The content of negative oxygen ions in the air of the county is very high. People aged 100 and above account for 35/100,000 of the whole population, five times the standard of World Longevity Town.

In recent years, Fengshan county has vigorously joined in the building of the Bama Longevity Health International Tourism Zone and developed the health and longevity tourism industry. In 2017, the county received a total of 2.81 million domestic and foreign tourists, an increase of 22.4 percent over the same period in 2016. It reaped tourist revenue of 2.71 billion yuan ($429.81 million), an increase of 27.7 percent over the same period in 2016. 　　

After years of development, Fengshan county has built its own tourist brands including "International Base for Scientific Cave Research", "International Base for Cave Diving" and "Top 10 Self-driving Destination". It is also listed as one of the top three hot places in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
