The China (Guangxi)-Africa & Middle East Digital Trade Week was inaugurated in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on June 29 for global merchants and customers.

The digital trade week aims to use the internet and cross-border e-commerce technology to display and promote high-quality, distinctive, and outstanding Guangxi products to foreign customers, help local foreign trade enterprises enter the Middle East and African markets, as well as promote economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi and Middle East and African countries.

The digital trade week started on June 29 and will last for seven days. A total of 102 Guangxi export enterprises are exhibiting more than 520 kinds of commodities, covering construction materials, construction machinery, hardware and electrical machinery, automobiles and auto parts, food and agriculture, medical equipment, daily life, as well as electronic technology.

A large number of well-known enterprises in various industries in Guangxi are actively participating in the exhibition, including Liugong Machinery Co, SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW), Guangxi Pinglu Group, Yuanda Glass Energy-saving Technology Co, Guilin Pharmaceutical Co, and Liuzhou Luozhuangyuan Food Co.

An online live streaming promotion will be held every day during the trade week. Both parties who are interested in negotiation can conduct one-on-one online communication through video conference rooms.

New channels for international exchanges and cooperation between Guangxi's foreign trade enterprises and countries and regions along the Belt and Road will be opened through the digital exhibitions, online promotion meetings, and online negotiations.
